Win Tickets to See Devin The Dude at The Parish
“Rap’s best kept secret”, Devin The Dude will be playing The Parish on August 1st, along with a host of other artists. Because we don’t believe in keeping good music a secret, we’re giving away a pair of tickets to the show.
Devin The Dude is a Houston-based rapper with a long career that has included collaborations with Andre 3000 (Outkast), Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, UGK and The Roots. His latest album, Smoke Sessions Vol. 1, was released back in April and is on store shelves and iTunes now.
There will be lots of local hip-hop on the menu on August 1st as well. Including, C.O.D., Southbound and Kriminals, among many others.
If you’re interested in seeing Devin The Dude, just leave a comment here and tell us why you think you should get the tickets. The winner will be chosen and notified on July 30th. The show is 18+only, so minors need not comment.

I definitely would like to see Devin the Dude live considering he had the collaboration of Andre 3000 AND Snoop Dogg on the same track AND same album?! Heck yeah, I would like to see him live!

I love Devin the Dude. I started listening to him in about 2000. I’ve seen him in ATX twice, and I’m kind of getting used to being one of four girls at the show!! I wanna take my girlfriend on Friday and introduce her to the Dude’s music— it’s awesome.
