Yesterday’s Grammy nomination announcement has stirred up a lot of chatter in the blogosphere and the indie music community in general. Indie blog favorites like M.I.A. and No Age were recognized amongst the standard Grammy fare of mainstream radio darlings like Coldplay and Lil Wayne.

It’s another fantastic week to be a music lover in Austin. Even though Hurricane Ike never made it this far, the weather has cooled down. Under 90 all week, means cooler nights and even cooler music in the clubs.
