Pompeii Performs ‘Rabbit Ears’ In-Studio

Austin twee pop band Pompeii appeared on the JB & Sandy Morning Show during SXSW to perform their song Rabbit Ears. Providing a rare glimpse behind the scenes of a live radio broadcast, two members of Pompeii represented the band in-studio for the acoustic performance.
Before they began playing, vocalist Dean Stafford and guitarist Erik Johnson answered some questions, including what it’s like to be a local musician during SXSW. (Hint: our city literally seems to explode).

Austin quiet-rockers Pompeii provided the opening track for a new Eyeball Records compilation, Eyeball Awareness Vol. 3.  Pompeii’s song Rabbit Ears is featured on the compilation, which is available for free download on Eyeball Records website.
This compilation is the third installment in a four part series put together by Eyeball Records to “raise awareness of serious issues affecting our community” and “outline how fans can get involved to help make a difference.
