RedGorilla Music Fest is now in it’s seventh year, serving as another free alternative to SXSW. RedGorilla runs concurrently to SXSW at a variety of clubs in downtown Austin. Though most of the artists on their lineup may not be household names yet, RedGorilla has a knack for finding up and coming young talent. Past performers include Family Force 5, Dropping Daylight, and American Bang, who is currently on tour with The Pretenders.

This year’s schedule includes performances by Opus Dai,  Lukas Rossi, Flatfoot56, Green River Ordinance, Autovaughn, and Wideawake among many others. The lineup still has numerous holes in it, but the RedGorilla website promises a complete schedule soon.
