DJ Z-Trip, known by mainstream audiences for his work with Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, has released a free download of his new Obama Mix.
A mashup comprised of samples, speeches and songs, the Obama Mix was inspired by Z-Trip’s “Party for Change” fundraisers, which were run in conjunction with graphic artist Shepard Fairey. Though far from a household name, Shepard Fairey’s work has been instrumental in the Obama campaign. Fairey created the iconic image you see above.

The full lineup for Fun Fun Fun Fest 2008 is not scheduled for release until August, but early leaks have sprung in the blogosphere. Several “D” names have emerged, including Dead Milkmen, DOA, Dan Deacon, Deerhoof and DJ Z-Trip. Minus The Bear and reclusive Austinites …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead are also expected to perform.
