As the beginning of SXSW Music draws near, I’m scrambling to finalize some sort of list of the bands I’ll be seeing this year. There isn’t nearly enough time to cover them all, so below are some highlights with links, so you can check them out. Though (hopefully) you’ll already be familiar with some of them. The Cool Kids (Chicago, IL)
Old school hip-hop. Two MCs and one DJ style. Think early Beastie Boys.

One of the biggest hip-hop acts out today. Touring with Kanye West this summer.

One of my favorite live shows this year. Sound like early Pretenders, but with an edge.

I am going to spend all day tomorrow checking out these bands myspace pages. I was pumped to see you had The Cliks listed.
