Fun Fun Fun Fest Artist Z-Trip Releases Obama Mix

DJ Z-Trip, known by mainstream audiences for his work with Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, has released a free download of his new Obama Mix.
A mashup comprised of samples, speeches and songs, the Obama Mix was inspired by Z-Trip’s “Party for Change” fundraisers, which were run in conjunction with graphic artist Shepard Fairey. Though far from a household name, Shepard Fairey’s work has been instrumental in the Obama campaign. Fairey created the iconic image you see above.
Through his fundraising work for Obama and now the Obama Mix, Z-Trip is helping spread the important message of voter registration. On his website, Z-Trip encourages fans to download the Obama Mix and “burn copies, share it with friends, family, co-workers, strangers, and especially anyone you know is on the fence about this election.” Z-Trip has also made a radio edit in hopes of his message reaching an even wider audience.

DJ Z-Trip will perform in Austin as part of Fun Fun Fun Fest on November 8th, just after the presidential election. For tickets and more information on Fun Fun Fun Fest visit the official website.
