Austin SoundCheck presents Feedback Vol 1
I’m proud to present the first installment of Feedback, our new mixtape series. All twelve bands featured are homegrown Austinites and were hand-picked for quality and freshness. We’ve even got a previously unreleased song from Full Service called La Pieta.

The Boxing Lesson - Dark Side of the Moog
MySpace
Well-crafted psych rock, this three-piece packs a totally trippy punch.
Built By Snow - Underneath
Website // MySpace
Geek rock with a pop chaser. Make sure you watch the video for Underneath on BBS’ MySpace
Spin Alley - Harlem Rose
MySpace
A hard-rocking reggae number from a screamo/hip-hop band. Guaranteed to get you moving.
Full Service - La Pieta
Website // MySpace
These dreaded rockers also have a funk/groove side to them and it comes out in this previously unreleased song.
She Craves - Radio Days
MySpace
Pop rock with an alt. flair, this song has soaring guitars and catchy lyrics that will get stuck in your head.
Driver F - Two Words Mr. President, Plausible Deniability
Website // MySpace
Driver F’s catchy brand of pop rock has the added bonus of a horn section which is highlighted nicely in this song.
The Story Of - After Just A While
Website // MySpace
Infectious indie pop that features tasty vocal harmonies and a piano. I dare you to resist.
Gobi - The Way We Live
MySpace
Ghostland Observatory meets choice hip-hop flavor in this electro duo.
Death Is Not A Joyride - Masochism in the Trade
Website // MySpace
Eclectic art-rock to be sure, its the haunting vocals that will draw you in.
One-Eyed Doll - Committed
Website // MySpace
Raucous, in-your-face grunge rock that will kick your ass in a good way, just like the lead singer.
Turbo350 - I Won’t Go Home
MySpace
This rockabilly three piece features a stand up bass that brings an old-time swagger to their guitar rock.
The Band of Heathens - Don’t Call On Me
Website // MySpace
Think The Black Crowes drunk on alt. country. They are good enough to bring rock fans over to the Southern side.

Yea what’s wrong with rapidshare? I dig the mix tape Ana. Cool that your promoting the good local acts in town that others may not know about. I think ATH may make a best of the summer tape. Keep up the good work!
