Having appreciated diverse types of music over the last 4 decades, including ska and afro-pop and punk, I find Vampire Weekend to be a refreshing and original band that marries these influences in a new and upbeat way. And with clever and interesting lyrics to boot. Fantastic band. I'll take David Byrne's opinion over Ana Wolken's any day.
