Meat Puppets Reunite for New Album, SXSW

The Meat Puppets were announced as a SXSW performer this week. If that weren’t exciting enough, the legendary 90’s punk rockers have announced that they will be releasing a new album, Sewn Together,  on May 12 via Megaforce Records. The new material will be performed live for the first time at Stubb’s on March 19 during The Meat Puppet’s SXSW appearance.

Sewn Together is the band’s 2nd album with drummer Ted Marcus. The first album with the current lineup, entitled Rise to Your Knees, was released in 2007 and was The Meat Puppet’s first album since 2000.
