‘Iron Maiden : Flight 666′ sets SXSW Premiere
While I’ve been narrowly focused on the SXSW music festival, Scott over at Metal Martyr caught this awesome music related tidbit from SXSW film.
Iron Maiden: Flight 666 will premiere at SXSW 2009, giving both music and film fans a peak into their recent ‘Somewhere Back in Time’ World Tour. The documentary chronicles Iron Maiden’s sold out 23 date tour, which saw the band travelling exclusively by plane to 13 different countries. All told they travelled over 43,000 miles in only 45 days.
Premiering at SXSW, Iron Maiden: Flight 666 will be released into theatres worldwide on April 21, 2009. The one minute teaser trailer is below for your viewing pleasure.
