Live Music Task Force Final Meeting Tonight

 

Tonight is the final public meeting of Austin’s Live Music Task Force. The task force is meeting to approve a final draft of recommendations to the city council. A draft was released to the public last month. You can view the draft here.
The task force is comprised of Austin-based music industry professionals, including venue owners, musicians, promoters as well as neighborhood representatives and city politicians. The city council created the Live Music Task Force to address current issues, developments and challenges facing Austin musicians and the music community.

This compilation is the third installment in a four part series put together by Eyeball Records to “raise awareness of serious issues affecting our community” and “outline how fans can get involved to help make a difference.
