Tonight is the final public meeting of Austin’s Live Music Task Force. The task force is meeting to approve a final draft of recommendations to the city council. A draft was released to the public last month. You can view the draft here.

The task force is comprised of Austin-based music industry professionals, including venue owners, musicians, promoters as well as neighborhood representatives and city politicians. The city council created the Live Music Task Force to address current issues, developments and challenges facing Austin musicians and the music community.

Tonight’s meeting is at 6pm at City Hall. The task force will present it’s final recommendations to the city council on November 20th. Tonight is the public’s last chance to address the task force, so if you haven’t done so yet, go down there and make sure your voice is heard.
