Austin Rockers Blast Into Space

Three Austin musicians, Patrice Pike, Eric Johnson and Stephen Bruton, will  have their digitized DNA, influences, instruments of choice and examples of their work sent into space as part of Operation Immortality.

Operation Immortality aims to create a digital time capsule of the human race, which will be stored on the International Space Station. Bruton is the musical director for Operation Immortality parent company Planet Make-Over. He selected Pike and Johnson to “join” him on the mission. Bruton will accompany the capsule contents into space when he travels to the International Space Station on October 12, 2008.
