Duffy cancels ACL Appearance
Welsh songstress Duffy has cancelled her appearance at ACL Festival 2008 due to “touring conflicts.” An official statement from ACL organizer C3 Presents has not been released, but Austin360 has confirmed she is removed from the schedule.
Not sure I’ll miss Duffy. One of those acts that I’ve heard of, but not listened to. Maybe they’ll get somebody a little more exciting to replace her.

Wait, who?
I was pretty unimpressed with Dufffy at SXSW. I’d heard that one hit of hers that sounds rather old-school R&B-ish and thought maybe she was another Amy Winehouse, but unfortunately, that song was the exception rather than the rule. The rest was yawn-inducing pop.
