Ozzfest has taken the show off the road and will be a one shot festival in Dallas this year. Featured on the Texas Stage are Austin’s own The Sword.

Playing alongside names like Ozzy Osbourne, Metaliica, Serj Tankian (SOAD), Hellyeah, Jonathan Davis (Korn) and In This Moment, The Sword have definitely arrived.

The one-day Ozzfest will also include an all-star tribute to slain Pantera guitarist and Texas music legend Dimebag Darrell. His brother, ex-Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul, also mans the kit for Hellyeah.

Ozzfest is scheduled for August 9 at Pizza Hut Park in Dallas. More information, including ticketing details can be found on Ozzfest’s website.
