Austin Sound Check

There’s only one thing I can think of that is better than a satirical cartoon about a fake metal band. That one thing would be a tour by that very band. Adult Swim’s Dethklok is coming to Austin this summer and as starved as this town is for good metal, I predict a sellout. This is the first time I can remember that a decent metal tour has come here and not gone to San Antonio.

With Chimaira and Soilent Green rounding out the lineup, I don’t think La Zona Rosa will ever be the same.
